Traveling for business has become more of a necessity than a luxury in our ever changing world but that doesn’t mean necessity traveling can’t be done in luxury. There are many reasons to consider flying private besides the fact that charter quotes are relatively the same as commercial flight quotes but the best private jet is a relatively better experience. If you were to fly in a prospective client or employee or if you were to fly someone out, few thinks speak volumes of appreciation better than a private jet flight. But the question is, where does one receive said charter quotes and what does it take to rent a private jet? The answer is charter quotes are cheaper than you think. By 2011, 11,261 private jets were registered in the United States. You could fly one way for less than $600 per person.
Forget about security checkpoints and TSA, it’s a straight line to the jet after you show ID. Some airports even have valets from the landing mat for you to board the private jet within 30 seconds or less. This all but removes the headache that boarding at the airport can bring. Speaking of airports, flight delays and cancellations are less frequent as private jets use a network of more than 5000 airports in the United States, compared to 550 used by commercial airlines. Private jets also have more freedom to switch airports at will and land in smaller, neighboring airports that commercial flights are prohibited from landing in. One third of all business aircraft flights are into a secondary airport and 19% of flights are into larger commercial airports. Respondents to a 2009 survey stated that they are 20% more productive on a company aircraft than in the office; meaning getting an executive jet charter will boost morale. Go figure.
Private jets also have the ability to travel faster with a smaller engine than their commercial flight counterpart; while commercial jets cruise at 35,000 feet, smaller jets fly higher (around 51,000 feet) and don’t have to deal with other air traffic, often making trips faster. The unwritten rule of the sky is that the fastest jets are always private.
There are many companies that provide charter quotes from. These quotes can range from travel to a variety of airports as well as taxiing fees. Fees with private charter companies can range from one time fees to buying a private jet outright to even paying an annual fee and having certain access to private jets for charter.
Flying a business client has never been easier and with all the unknowns in the industry, has never looked more luxurious. Do you have any experience on a VIP private jet?
